Let's talk about this N21billion that was raised for GEJ's campaign


So on Saturday Dec. 20th, PDP Governors, Senators, Business moguls, technocrats, multinationals and others donated a total of N21.27billion to support Jonathan's re-election campaign.

What happened is normal and done everywhere in the world...presidential candidates gather friends and associates to donate towards their campaign. But what I don't get is a private individual like Tunde Ayeni, the chairman of SKYE Bank donating N2billion. So, if you donate that amount to the president, is it for something you will get later from his administration or it's just goodwill?

Aww, one of the breakout stars of 2014, rapper Bobby Shmurda is closing the year in an unfortunate way. The Hot Boy rapper who is credited with creating the viral sensation, Shmoney Dance is facing up to 25 years in prison and after he and members of his GS9 gang were arrested last week in shooting, drug and gang sting in Brooklyn New York.

The police have announced a 69-count indictment that netted 15 members of the GS9 gang. The top count in the indictment is second-degree conspiracy, which carries up to 25 years in prison. Bobby and his gang changed as they appeared in court on Thursday. More pics after the cut...



Kimora Lee Simmons goes on holiday with ex-husband & their kids


It's a tradition. Years after they ended their marriage, Kimora Lee Simmons and ex-husband Russell Simmons still take holidays together with their children.

The mother of 3, who is expecting her 4th child with new banker husband Tim Leissner, is currently on holiday in the Caribbean island of St. Barths, with Russell, their daughters Aoki, 12, and Ming, 14 and Kenzo, her 5 year old son with actor Djimon Hounsou. Tim wasn't with them.

After 63 days in the Big Brother house, Tayo Faniran, first runner and Nigerian housemate recently returned home and was welcomed with all the pomp befitting a hotshot. MultiChoice Nigeria threw him a homecoming party which took place at the popular CovaLounge, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Speaking with the media shortly before his party, Tayo said he was shocked when Idris Sultan of Tanzania was declared the winner of the reality show.
"I was really shocked when IK declared Idris the winner. I genuinely thought I would win, or at least be declared a co-winner! Nonetheless I’m incredibly grateful for the unique opportunity and exposure Big Brother has given me."
